Changes this settings page, the Side Panel, and the rest of the extension UI.

Right-click menu

Show a VidDub entry when you right-click a page

Starts a dub on a new site without hunting for the toolbar icon. The entry appears only on sites where VidDub is not enabled yet.

Bluetooth audio

Keep a Bluetooth headset awake while dubbing

Some Bluetooth headsets go to sleep during a pause and swallow the first words when the dub resumes, or lose sound entirely. VidDub plays a tone you cannot hear to stop that. Turn it off if you listen on wired headphones or speakers.

Ask before spending credits

Applies to the next dub. Fast keeps translation free; a video with no subtitles buys speech recognition with credits, and this setting decides when you are asked first.

Rewrite same-language captions with AI (Quality only)

Off: when the video's captions are already in your target language — including captions the platform generated automatically — VidDub speaks them as they are and charges no translation, in both modes. On: in Quality mode the AI rewrites those captions into clean sentences first, and that costs credits like any AI translation.

When the override is ON, this panel is the single source for these 6 high-speed dub knobs — empty fields use the production default. Reload the video tab to apply cleanly. Turn the override OFF to restore production.

When on, the voice carries the whole deficit and the video runs at the chosen speed (video-floor is ignored).

Privacy

Send anonymous diagnostics Helps the team fix bugs faster. Diagnostic reports never include subtitle text, video titles, full page addresses, or your account identity. When a site cannot be dubbed, the site's domain name (for example example.com) is sent so we can add support.
